St. Patrick Centennial Year Prayer
Loving God, we praise you as we
celebrate one hundred years in the
heart of the city.
You have blessed us with devoted
members who have been nourished
by your Word and Eucharist,
who have ministered among us,
and who have been reconciled.
We prayerfully remember those who
have been welcomed into eternal life
and now pray for us.
We pledge now to continue your mission
with wisdom and generosity,
to be a sign of peace and welcome
in our valley,
to show reverence for one another
and for all of creation,
to use our gifts and talents to lift
the burdens of the needy,
to praise you with
witness of our lives.
To you, O God, be the glory
forever and ever. Amen
