Kids Corner

The Kids Corner is a special "kids only" area for A Taste of St. Patrick's. We are so fortunate that our neighbors across the street at Needles Eye are sharing their space with us. 

Kids Corner is organized and supervised by four Child Protection Compliant adult parents who are excited to offer a safe, fun and kid friendly space for our event!

Children will be "signed in" and "signed out" by their parents. We will have forms for phone numbers and allergy information. 

We will have games, activities, crafts AND child-friendly food!

What is "A Taste of St. Patrick's?" 

A fundraiser showcasing 24 cooks from St. Patrick's Parish. Attendees will be given tasting tickets to sample all the food our amazing cooks have prepared for us.

What time does it start?

Doors open at 11:30 am. Tasting starts at 11:45 am and ends at 1:30 pm.

How big of a sample?

Samples are about two "spoonfuls" of wonderfulness!

What kinds of foods? 

There are 6 categories of food to sample: appetizers, side dishes, salads, dips and salsas, main dishes and desserts. There is something for everyone!

What does my ticket get me?

24 tasting tickets to sample each of the foods and beverage. We will be selling additional sampling tickets (2 for $1) during the event. Additionally, each attendee will receive a ballot to vote on his or her favorite dish in each category. 

Is this event for families? What about my children?

We have a great "Kids Corner" for our children under 12! See details under "Kids Corner" on the left of this page!

Will there be any raffles?

YES! There are 2 different raffles:

1. Basket raffle. (tickets are $10 for a sheet, or 3 sheets for $20). You do not need to be present to win.

2. 50/50 cash raffle. The winner does need to be present to win the 50/50.

Who benefits from this fundraiser?

All proceeds will go to support the children, youth and adult formation efforts of our parish. Things like textbooks, bibles and the National Catholic Youth Conference are some of the expenses we need to help offset.  

 

Can I help out?

Absolutely! Click here for a volunteer sign up sheet. We are also looking for donations of baskets to raffle or items to be included in basket raffle. Donations can be dropped off at the rectory. Tax donation forms are available upon request.
